,,,,,,,,,,,The UT race taking Dooleys slot
just thought you'd like to know
Just think, what if Pete went to UT and Dooley came to Elon
Would you have a chance at the SOCON race then?
You guys need a new coach and new AD. Nothing will get better until then.
Go ahead, sling your mud. I'm standing by

I wonder who will fill Jerry Moore's boots? really think Satterfield has the chops? Pete Lembo is a proven winning Head Coach UT would be a great place for him.

Coach Moore, although still hands on, is (actually has) turned the reins over to Satterfield. He's OK, but given the state of the conference now he'd better stay on top of things (the Socon being one of those things) to keep his job for a couple of years. He is well thought of in the community and those in the know pretty much say he has ran the show this year.
Almost all of Moores staff is gone including his own son. Its the Satterfield show now.
Although Pete might be a good fit for UT I still see them (UT) going deep into the budget and pulling from the pros vs some AA ball coach.
I know I am going to catch hell for this statement, but I think Pete needs a little more time in the trenches before he's ready for div I SEC football. Someday for sure, just not yet.

No hell to catch for that. Lembo could help a team like Kentucky out I think, but, I think the pressure would be too much at UT. The expectations are just too high really. It's not that Pete can't do it, I just think he'd have things working against him. People would question the move from the start and use that as an excuse to bellyache about everything. Kind of like me with Swepson. You can be pleasantly wrong, but if the risk of that type doesn't produce, it's a much bigger problem to overcome in the eyes of the fans.
Going into a Kentucky type situation makes things easier, expectations are low, you have more time to get your team together, and once it turns around, you're the hero.
I think he's ready for an SEC type job, just not a UT type job.
