I am sure most of us are paying a little more attention to this years draft with the potential drafting of Hudgins. What do you guys think will happen with him? I have to believe I am not alone in thinking that some team is going to get an absolute steal if they draft him in a late round, where he is most likely projected to go. The Patriots fan in me hopes Belichick snags him, but who knows. If anyone finds any info. about him leading up to draft day, lets post it here. Found this one today from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel online...
The Packers were in attendance at Elon wide receiver Terrell Hudgins' private workout, also according to Huber. "Hudgins made Elon, N.C., a must-stop location on the scouting trail over the last two seasons," writes Huber. "A handful of teams watched Hudgins’ private workout recently, and the Packers — renowned for leaving no stone unturned — were one of them, a source from the conference told Packer Report. The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder ran his 40-yard dash in 4.52 seconds (on grass) and received plenty of positive feedback from the scouts in attendance. No teams have mentioned moving him to another position, he said." Most remarkably, Hudgins broke several of Jerry Rice's receiving records.

Just found this on SI.com too... sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/football/nfl/draft-2010/04/18/sleeprs/index.htmlTerrell Hudgins/WR/Elon: Hudgins amassed 394 receptions, 5,200 receiving yards and 51 touchdowns at Elon. During his pro-day workout, the 229-pound receiver surprised scouts by running the 40 in the mid-4.5 range. He's a sure-handed possession wideout with a nose for the end zone. Teams with interest: Colts, Broncos, Packers

Panthers, Broncos, and Giants were here for the Pro Day last month. www.elonphoenix.com/news.aspx?sid=fb&nid=7070I've heard that Hudgins could go in the late rounds, or be a preferred free agent, signed right after the draft. But he is pretty much guaranteed to sign with somebody and get into a camp, and have a shot at making a roster somewhere.
