Really Elon77? Spelling on a blog? it's a typo... Let's see if you can figure it out and tell me what I meant without me spelling it out for you. Now try this one. teg a efil dna etubirtnoc gnihtemos lufgninaem rehto naht msacras dna gnikcehc gnilleps. LOL Interestingly enough recent article: Nationally Ranked Elon concluded the 2011 season ranked among the national leaders in numerous statistical categories. The team’s best standing came in stolen bases where the Phoenix finished 11th out of 292 NCAA Division I teams with 114 stolen bases. Elon also finished in the top-30 in walks (22nd with 278), triples (25th with 21) and hit-by-pitch (27th with 79). www.elonphoenix.com/news/2012/2/15/BB_0215125230.aspx?path=baseballWow bballfan, I didn't mean to pee in your cornflakes, take a pill. Just a little poke. Was impressed with your backwards spelling, but I hate to say it, typos. Long Live Elon! I won't respond to you ever again bballfan, you are just too serious for me. Kick some butt Elon, I can't wait to see my first game this year. Sometime in March, 4th member of my family will coming for orientation. I believe they are playing Ga. Southern that weekend and I am looking forward to it. Sorry for being long winded and the needling. I'm done. Trust me bballfan, I need plenty of help, just ask my kids.

Following the live stats... Gomez with a grand slam in the 4th and Webb just gave up his first hit in the 7th with 6 strikeouts so far. Great start, even if it is just Akron.

Good first two games. Loved what I've seen from the starters so far. Combined 14 IP, 5 hits, 10 Ks, 1 walk and 2 runs allowed.

Just had a clutch Bottom of the 8th to get the lead in Game 2. Looks like Jordan Darnell was the closer in the first close game we had and shut it down with 2 K's and a ground out. Solid 3-0 start to the season. Who is the starter for tomorrow? I would think we might see a bunch of guys going for short stints.

Saw both games on Saturday. The pitching was exceptional and there is definitely a lot of speed on the team. It was a great day to watch baseball and glad the season is here.
Go Phoenix!

agreed, couldn't ask for better weather. Excluding the first inning of the second game the pitching was phenomenal

How did that change? Is their field not ready in the early season here or what?

The rain/snow doesn't drain well at War Memorial Stadium so the home dates were flipped.
