(((( Hot News )))) A prospect receives tickets to a home game.
Malik Sexton: 6'1", 185 lbs, QB. Elusive with his feet. More athlete than QB, Possible future at another possible. Present offense has a lot of QB keepers, can zone read defenses. Played another Elon prospect in William Smith of Norfolk, Va the past week. Played QB for varsity as sophomore. Worth a long look due to athleticism. Plays in Churchland, Va.

sorry this is not a recruiting thread and is pretty much BS there is no rhyme or reason just a lot of wannabees it seems maybe a walk-on list I will let you have your opinion and I will refute it. I don't ask for approval of my thread but I get it. I answer 5-10 messages a day about prospects or what I see in a potential prospect. I have to wonder if you know what "recruiting" is. Are you another one who waits till signing day and just says wow we have football prospects that have signed with us. I sit and I wonder about some of the posts and who side you are really on. My little recruiting thread is the most positive thread on here. Everything in my thread has been adapted from suggestions that have been given to me. I try to accommodate all, at least the ones that know what a positive influence it is to be informed. So let me dissect your post. " recruiting thread is pretty much BS and there is no rhyme or reason" Do you think there is a formula to recruiting that you can learn? I don't want to insult your intelligence, but you are really making me want to. If it was that easy, don't you think every football coach would know it? Are you a football guy? Every football guy knows this. Does every 5 star recruit goto the NFL? NO they don't. The closest thing to a formula that can be written is: Football Tradition + Football Enthusiasm by Team Recruiter + Interest in School / Order of priority by prospect = ? if ?=1 then commitment." just a lot of wannabees it seems maybe a walk-on list ". A walk on list? Compared to what? a BCS school? FCS school? A walk on list at Elon? Let me clue you in 80% of these guys have offers. From what I have seen, 50% are upgrades on what we have on the field now. As soon as they learn the system they will be contributors. If you want to doom your chances of ever landing top quality prospects, keep calling them wannabees. These are kids, young men, don't ever call them wannabees. They have dreams to succeed. You, nor I, will ever sidetrack that ambition. If they so choose to wear the maroon and gold, they will wear it with pride as I did. I personally want a team that I can be proud of. I'll get that team a whole lot quicker than you will. Be part of the solution and not the problem. Think about that.

knock yourself out You should NOT be recruiting any kids if you even have a Phoenix Club Card that is a violation.... seen too many total busts from all these "combine" warriors and defections at the last minute. ... I guess NOT seeing any of the recruits We will get is always a concern and they are always hyped way off the chart. just keep on keep'n on
losing frustrates me and if a kid makes his decision on a board post he probably does not qualify a former Wanna-be, has-been .... but a Once was!!! a long time ago.

(((( Update))) Prospect on campus for Official visit
Ryan Lee from Winston Salem was on campus for an official visit yesterday. Not much info on him. Not a lineman type, more like a WR/DB type. Long and lean. If anymore information becomes available I will update.
