I like that we finish the season at home - hopefully there will be a lot of fan support and we can send the team into the tournament with positive confidence. Wish I had lots of money and time...would love to see all these campuses first hand....but at least I will be able to make most of the home games.

Would like to hear everyone's thoughts on this: www.caasports.com/news/2014/8/28/MBB_0828144126.aspx Elon was left out of all seven nationally televised basketball games this year, while W&M and Northeastern are showcased in three games each... Anyone know how these decisions are made? Does NBCSN get final say or does CAA get to select the games? I get we are the new guys on the block and have to pay our dues - but it seems like as a member of the CAA we should be included in the national TV package..it would not have been hard to feature all 10 teams in at least one game... Is this something our administration could have negotiated into our deal when we came to the CAA? We also were snubbed in football this year for the national games while NH, W&M and Richmond each get showcased twice on national TV... Between football and basketball W&M will have 5 nationally televised games on NBCSN and Elon will have ZERO. www.caasports.com/news/2014/7/18/FB_0718140222.aspxA national TV deal is only great if we get to actually be included! After this year, we have two years remaining in the NBCSN deal - I'd be curious to know if they will do another deal with the CAA...b/c that will be right about the time Elon is settling into the new conference and competing for championships (hopefully)

I was a little disappointed to see them left out of the NBCSN games as well, but I would imagine we're a little bit of an unknown and it's probably easier to go with what you know works and teams that are more likely to have strong teams this year.
I do think there is some value to Elon in having other CAA teams on NBCSN, but I agree it's dampened when their games aren't included.
Just need to win as quickly as possible and the rest will follow.
Go Phoenix!
