Good start for the team this weekend. A couple of guys looked much better than last year.
4-0 win against DePaul and 1-0 against St. Mary's, who was picked 2nd in the WCC I believe.
Two more winnable games next weekend in Wilmington (Campbell and UNF), so hopefully they can keep playing well.
Go Phoenix!

Soccer wins two more this weekend. 4-0 on the season. Gets tougher from here on out, but the team looks really solid and have several threats to score. Ladies are 4-1 as well. Both programs doing well. Keep it up.
Go Phoenix!

Soccer moves to 5-0 with a 4-0 win over Davidson. Next up #16 Wake in Winston. This is a big game. If they can win that one they'll surely be ranked. Even a tie might get them into the top 25.
With all the goal scoring they should be fun to watch all season. Should bring the fans out too. I was surprised to see attendance over 1000 last night. That's good support.
Go Phoenix!

Huge win tonight for them, 1-0 over #7 Wake (7th according to the NCAA poll EFF linked above). Awesome to see one of the teams making a national impact.

Great job! They seem to have Wake's number these days. Take care of business against Drexel Friday night and you have to think Elon has a good chance to find its way into the top 10.
On a side note, this was the first home loss for Wake's coach in over 2 years (22-0-1). He was at Denver before he came to Wake.
Keep it going. Still a lot of tough games remaining.
Go Phoenix!

Great stuff from the squad. Gotta keep it up. Still a long way to go with the CAA schedule.
This win could be huge come tourney time.

Tough way to lose last night. The team needs to put it behind them and win at Hofstra Saturday and they'll be right back on track. A CAA regular season title would be huge.
Go Phoenix!

The team is struggling down the stretch, but still are in the latest projections. College soccer news has them hosting Rider in the first round and then the winner going to Chapel Hill. I think there are only a 2 or 3 at-large teams with lower RPIs than Elon in the projection so a loss to Delaware on Friday could cause problems. You'd hope the Wake Forest win (only WF loss to date and they are #1 in the country), the CAA reg season crown and 13 wins would be enough. Hoping the Elon team we saw early in the season shows up this weekend and takes care of business so they can get a home game and not have to worry about the committee. www.collegesoccernews.com/index.php/articles/863-college-soccer-new-s-bracketologist-updates-projections-of-the-2015-ncaa-tourney-fieldGo Phoenix!
