Lonnie Galloway’s title at Louisville is co-offensive coordinator / wide receivers coach. In addition, offensive line coach Chris Klenakis has been promoted to co-offensive coordinator, and wide receivers coach Nick Petrino has moved to quarterbacks coach. Klenakis and Petrino have been on staff since 2014, and Petrino was promoted from graduate assistant last month.
always figured He would be a head coach somewhere, someday.

from Football Scoop these were back 2 back
Louisville: New offensive coordinator Lonnie Galloway is making $607,500 per year on a 3-year deal, per the Courier-Journal.
Scoop him up: Marc Yellock spent the last six seasons (2010-2015) as defensive line coach at East Carolina University under former head coach Ruffin McNeill. A four-year letterman at ECU under Steve Logan, Yellock majored in Chemistry. After working a couple years as a lab analyst and analytical chemist, respectively, Marc started on a course, in 2002, which would ultimately lead to fulfilling his dream of becoming a college football coach. Following a one-year stint as linebackers coach at J.H. Rose HS (Greenville, NC) Yellock joined East Carolina University’s staff as a video intern in 2003 and was later promoted to a staff assistant role during 2004 and 2005. Yellock landed the defensive line position at Elon University in 2006. During the summer of 2009, Yellock gained valuable experience as an intern with the New Orlean’s Saints, where he had the opportunity to work with their defensive line and special teams unit. At ECU under Yellock’s supervision, the Pirates defensive line played an instrumental role in earning national rankings during 2013 and 2014. Yellock’s ultimate goal is to return to the game he loves and his passion for coaching it, while investing in players’ individual, academic and athletic success. Interested programs can contact Coach Marc Yellock can be reached at yellockm@ecu.edu.

See an Elon connection here? Bateman, Galloway......
Army suspends, fines Jay Bateman for receiving leaked Wake Forest information
Army has fined defensive coordinator Jay Bateman $25,000 and suspended him from football-related activities for two weeks for his role in accepting leaked information from former Wake Forest radio announcer Tommy Elrod, the service academy said in a statement Tuesday.
In addition, an internal investigation found Bateman and former assistant Ray McCartney accepted "non-public information and took actions to conceal the information and its source."
"Our commitment is to foster a culture of excellence and winning in everything we do," said U.S. Military Academy Superintendent Lt. Gen. Robert L. Caslen, Jr., who conducted the investigation. "It does not mean that we win at all costs. Rather, it means winning in accordance with our values and who we are as an institution and a nation. When we win, we will do so honorably, remaining true to the values and standards that define us."
In addition, Army athletics director Boo Corrigan is requiring Bateman to attend an ethics training program.
"Although no NCAA rules were violated, these actions do not represent our values," Corrigan said in a statement. "We appreciate Wake Forest bringing this matter to our attention and I want to apologize to the Wake Forest administration and to the West Point community."
Army becomes the third football program to admit its assistants took information from Elrod, a former Wake Forest player and assistant who has since been fired. Louisville also fined and suspended offensive coordinator Lonnie Galloway for the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl, while Georgia fined Shane Beamer for taking information during his time as a Virginia Tech assistant.
In addition, the ACC fined Virginia Tech and Louisville $25,000 each, the maximum penalty allowed under league bylaws.
Wake Forest announced in December that Elrod had been sharing confidential information going back to 2014, his first year on the radio broadcast team. His attorneys have yet to issue a comment on his behalf.
