As for the question of is it Elon or Skrosky? If throw Blank's name in as well. Should this staff not succeed fingers should be pointed at Blank. Blanks grade should not solely be biased on football. He has overseen a rise in the Soccer team a new basketball arena, upgrades to soccer and baseball, the field house, .... There have been many improvements that have been implemented that take a while to show, but for blank you cant solely grade him on football

True but generating the funds to build them. Now I dont know enough of the program to know who is mainly responsible for getting the big donors, but without them a lot of our improvements wouldn't happen

You do go down if there's not an opening. Two months before the season most rosters are full. plus he went to a place where former teammates and a coach was. It looks to be a comfort move hes not playing for attention but to by time till a job comes available and having fun while he does it.

Blank is NOT responsible for raising the funds for the new facilities. Trust me on that.
As for the other success, the rise of soccer has been great. It's a no-brainer. We should be a great soccer school and I love seeing it.
However, if we have high expectations, our two marquee programs have been a struggle. Football has been a massive failure the past six years. Basketball has put together two decent seasons and that's about it. With those expectations, we should ask about Blank. It's fair.

To the "experts" who say more freshmen should be playing...
15 true or redshirt freshmen are on the two deep.
Not many programs at the FCS and FBS level can say they are that young.
We are obviously playing the best we have at all positions regardless of class.
Get a clue.

playing true freshmen at our level unless there is a true need is NOT the way to build a solid program. We are young True Freshmen , Redshirts can get and should get playing time as they know the program. Sophmores in 2nd and third year guys should have the opportunity to start and platoon.

Not saying a walk on can't be better than a scholarship kid but come on right now. And we have like 35 true freshman and another 15 or so red shirt freshman. So over half our team.

If we're going to have yet another losing season, (which certainly appears to be the case), I'm all for developing a team that will win in the future. I know this team fairly well, we are playing the best of the freshmen. I think Skrosky & crew have done a good job of assembling the 2 deep. I'm not trying to dis the roster here, but, we need better players. Our OL is coming along but all other areas need varying levels of improvement in personnel. We do have some good looking freshmen, but understand, just because they're good athletes doesn't mean they're snap ready.
Again, I'm not D1 coaching material, but I'm an exceptional observer. My observation is that our main areas of need are: 1. OC, 2. QB, 3. DL, 4. LB, 5. WR, and 6. RB. I think we're stocked pretty well elsewhere, at least for the future.
