DT should transfer right? I mean running was never her forte.

We have 4 scholarship quarterbacks on campus and competing to start. It's competition plain and simple. No one knows what the 2 early enrollees will bring, how CC has recovered or if DT will improve + a new offensive philosophy equals a wide open competition . It is all good!!

The young ones step into a very good situation. Even if neither of them gets the spot, they would still have three years after DT and CC move on, assuming they are red-shirted in this situation. On the other hand, if one of them gets the spot, then the other has a long four or five years ahead of him... I've heard CC hasn't yet started throwing again. Surely that'll begin soon. Or he's behind the 8 ball this spring.

I would be surprised if CC will be up to speed by spring ball. My understanding is that labrum surgery takes 8 months of rehab, (assuming a redo, which this is, doesn't take longer). This would have him back the end of April in somewhat less than game form. I really don't see CC getting into the competition until summer camp.

sometimes it is best to just let them get in school and let the coaches do their work and developing this team. players will reveal themselves and depth will develop in this NEW system. also players have been moved to enhance their skill set. (don't make me list ALL the these @ Elon) try to be positive

Davis Cheek is very capable. Just because he is described as a "pro style" QB doesn't mean he can't run. I expect the competition between him and Jalen Greene to be significant.

He comes from a dominant program in Charlotte and has a 40" vertical I want us to improve and better is better one step in the quest from good to great keep positive
