the one constant in this world is CHANGE!
for Elon it has always changed.
Time does not wait for any of us. Elon's price of success is that good work is you get promoted.
Our former coach, (I do not want to write his name because I see the hype machine at his new job begin to market him in a way He would never do at Elon. I even saw He has established his freak'n Twitter Account.) is even going to be going to chapters of booster clubs across Virginia. He certainly did not have that profile at Numen Lumen. All he did was coach winning football and turn around our football program.
He leaves us in a worse case scenario, less than a week before early signing day, theree years of development is always based on recruiting. At this writing our AD has yet to name a successor or even an interim Head Coach. Why?
JMU felt the pressure and took our guy to save their recruits. In just North Carolina alone there were at least 6 D-1 Head coaching moves this season. We are probably ranked ranked #5 on this list behind in status or pay behind UNC, ECU, App St, UNCC, Us & NCCU.
Also there are like 8 to 9 openings open on the FCS level now. We are a top 20 program. We must be getting interest, aren't We? I wish Dave Black had a published E-mail address what is the search committee doing?
Also our assistants that are leaving with the old Head coach are being courted by other schools for other Head coaching opportunities. My take on other posts is what is the delay in getting a quality guy like a Trisciani to keep the blueprint in place. Is The CAA is too competitive? Maybe We should move back to the Big South, not!
Am I the only one that cares? I think not.
