Schrage and company aren't wasting any time on the recruiting trail.
Zac Ervin, recently released from his Wofford commit, received an Elon offer yesterday.

I assume he left because of the coaching change at Wofford? Have you seen any recruitment videos on this kid or know much of anything about him?

That's my assumption, too.
I haven't seen him play, but see that he finished his high school career ninth on Virginia's all-time scoring list and that as a junior he and Mac McClung - a Georgetown commit - led Gate City to a VHSL state championship.

Found some videos on this kid. Impressive - Likes to attack the basket - Very Athletic and a big time scorer. Has a career high of 65 in one game. Found a video of another game where he scored 45. Looks to be an exciting player at the SG position. Like what I see so far. I hear James Madison is recruiting him heavily as well.

What about the recruits that may be lost? 7 footer from Montenegro, and stud guard from Barking Abbey? How is that recruiting going?

A 7 foot unathletic 3 point shooter, and a PG that got 1 D1 offer? Maybe they're great, but given past recruiting efforts, I wouldn't expect much. Zac Ervin's not here yet, but he's the kind of player I'd like to see here at Elon: Talented, athletic and aggressive.

The 7 footer from Montenegro opted to go to Marshall instead. Had committed to Elon but signed an LOI to Marshall according to Verbal Commits.
In the meantime, Nick Evtimov from Greensboro Day got an offer.
I'm liking the direction the new staff is heading in recruiting. Want to see them land a few of these kids, though.

Nicholas 'Nick' Evtimov from Greensboro Day School is listed as a 3-Star Recruit. Videos I have seen shows yet another athletic player with a good inside and outside game. Plays as a long 6'8" (Verbal Commits list him at 6'7"). This along with Zac Ervin shows the efforts they are making recruiting, Anxious to see who else they add to the list. We have 6 to 7 spots for scholarships this year. With a good recruiting class things could be looking way up in a couple of years. As an avid Elon fan I am very excited.
Evtimov also has offers from Western Carolina, UNC-G, Campbell, Lehigh, Towson, Iona, App. St. Bucknell, Colgate, USC Up Satate and Little Rock to name a few.

Clearly Elon came in late there. I still like the offer and what I'm seeing so far on the recruiting front.

Looks like the staff recently meet with Ben Wight a 6'9" C from Ohio. He was previously an Ohio U commit.

Schrage's also showing some interest in Ahmir Langlais, a 6-9 PF from Lilburn, Ga. who just got an offer from Northeastern.
Holmes and Georgetown, Ky. forward Micheal Moreno, 6-6, recently started following each other on Twitter. Presumably he's another one the coaches are kicking the tires on.
Both 2019s.
