This staff, in a short period of time, has really made a mark on the recruiting trail.
Now, let’s get the students on board.

Very excited about what has transpired here with the new coaches and recruits. We may fill the Schar in the future after all.

I seriously can't wait for this season to start. Not to put the cart before the horse, but at this point you have to wonder how long we'll be able to keep Schrage before the big boys come calling.

If he leaves, it’s because we are winning. I have no problem with that. Last four Elon coaches: FIRED Matheny Nestor Simons Burton

I also don't want to get too far ahead of reality, but I would not be surprised if Schrage is getting lured away three or four years from now.
I think we'll see a solid uptick next year and should be legit CAA tournament contenders in 2020-21. What I am seeing so far reminds me a lot of how quickly Kevin Keatts got UNCW back in the game a few years ago. Talent covers a lot of other deficiencies and Schrage has quickly brought in a lot of talent.
One of the things I am excited about, though, is who he has brought along as assistants. I could easily see Jonathan Holmes getting promoted to HC and Tyler Lewis getting a bump up to AC if Schrage does have quick success. And I'd be good with that because I think Holmes is going to be a good HC someday.
