After 7 games We are in a position to have a winning season. One game at a time for sure. Just for the hell of it, go check out the STATS and post what you believe is a noteworthy fact and We can hash it out.
One thing I found is that 31 of our players have been all seven of our games.

It really feels like Elon lives and dies by its offensive line play. Here's some stats from this year:
L NC A&T 21pts- 0.57ypc, 5 sacks W The Citadel 35pts - 6ypc, 0 sacks W Richmond 42pts - 3.7ypc, 0 sacks L Wake Forest 7pts - 2.7ypc, 2 sacks L James Madison 10pts - 1.4ypc, 5 sacks L UNH - 10pts 2.16ypc, 6 sacks W Delaware 42pts - 4.54ypc, 0 sacks
Elon's offense is dependent on their Offensive Line for so much. When they have a bad game, we can't push the ball down the field. Part of the reason we had no sacks against Delaware was because they were just begging us to throw the bubble screen on every play, and when they tried to adjust for it, we just ran it up the middle and got 5 yards. But on the few plays that we did drop-back pass they were stellar as well. I hope the Line play continues where it left off with Delaware, because when it does, Elon is a scary team.

Deserves a separate Tab, But every effective football team is built around developing their Offensive Line. ALL 4 losses (UNH was turnovers primarily) were because our opponents O-Line dominated urs. Time of Possession is a Freaky Stat. But primarily when one can sustain drives it keeps opponents offense off the field.
