I think it's fair to pick the Phoenix last. New coach that has to replace 60 percent of the scoring from last season.
There are a lot of unknowns, including how much Sheffield and the freshmen are able to contribute.
I believe they will outperform expectations, but the expectations are fair.

A lot of teams have lost some of their top performers so I think that alone will balance the league out. I have been to practice and the Freshmen and Sheffield look impressive. I think the Freshmen will contribute right away. Their is a different mentality that you can see and feel with this team. I predict them to finish around 6th or 7th. The Butler kid looks great but when he can start playing with 2 years left and if these Freshmen develop to their potential this could be a special team in two or three years.

Replacing Santa Ana, Sebring and Eberhardt is what the polls look at. So, I think it's fair to rank us last. However, a couple of insiders I know feel the team is already ahead of where they were last year in talent, scheme and teamwork. |

They'll probably do ok once the conference season arrives. That schedule early on is brutal with Georgia Tech, Michigan and UNC in consecutive games.
