QB run on the last three third downs. No adjustment and burned each time. That’s tough to see.

What an absolutely HORRIBLY coached football game. Coaches need to run wind sprints for 2 hours then run stadium sprints tomorrow. Just piss poor.

Need a quick regroup. UNH and Delaware are a level up compared to Rhode Island. Folmar needs to get his head straight.

Delaware’s D will absolutely slaughter Folmar’s O.

That dumb 4th and short completely changed the game.
Coming into this I felt like we needed 2 of the next 3. I just don't see them winning both UNH and UDel. Especially after today's performance.
Win next week and let's see what happens.
Go Phoenix!

Obviously in a loss, things are magnified.
All I will say is that this is a good team, but they have not played consistent football in weeks. They have not imposed themselves on offense and the defense was rough on QB runs today, but only gave up 10 points.
In my eyes, the problem with the offense is the offensive line. Lack of physicality and inability to take over a game, which has been shown the last couple of weeks. Towson, Richmond, and now Rhode Island have all dictated the line of scrimmage and wrecked havoc in the backfield with only rushing four. New Hampshire and Delaware will feast if our big guys can’t play physical and it’s that simple.

Our RB's should not be getting hit as soon as they take a handoff. I hate to say it but this loss may be the best thing to happen right now. We've escaped multiple games this season that could have very easily gone the other way and I think this may be a wake up call. Can't continue to play spotty throughout the game and continue to have success. Can't wait to see how they bounce back. Not too worried about the loss because this should make them more hungry and realize you can't always wait until it's panic mode to start playing. Go Elon!!

I didn't know if anyone else observed this or not, but after the URI Pic 6, I felt we were trying to increase the tempo, but every time we quickly got into formation, the OL continued point at URI defenders for several seconds after we lined up. This appeared to totally nullify our up tempo. Did anyone else see this as an issue?

I also don't understand why we don't have a pitch option play. We have a good mobile QB and at least two speedster RBs. I think a play like this would help out on 3rd & 5 type plays.
