I hate to brag, but wanted to share with my fellow Elon folks....I found out on Tuesday I was nominated for an Emmy!
fingers crossed for the awards show June 5th!

I hate to brag, but wanted to share with my fellow Elon folks....I found out on Tuesday I was nominated for an Emmy! fingers crossed for the awards show June 5th! for what? explain? I won't go too far in depth because I don't typically like posting too much info about where I work on message boards.... I am a promotions manager for a local TV affiliate. We submitted a promo spot about one of our reporters thats not typical of what you would see from a news promo. Low and behold, Tuesday night one of my producers sends a text saying we got a nom. This category ONLY ended up having 2 noms out of quite a few submissions. We're up against a station in Baltimore, but still, we have a 50/50 chance of winning! |

elonpride, I wish you the best of luck. Also I think that the student run show "One on One Sports" won a college emmy last year. I had Elon101 with a few of the guys on the staff.
