I think separating them would make it more tedious to navigate. Then I would have to check 4 locations rather than 2. Personally, I think wbb and softball may get less reads if they're separated. I don't think having to take additional time to check them out is a great way to reward great play.
However, if everyone disagrees & wants them separated & feels that this a great way to acknowledge the teams, move forward with it. Hey I've been wrong before... I think it was in 1974... ;-)

I think it was in 1974... ;-) Couldn't agree more phoenix3. Navigation wise it's much easier as it is and just seems a bit unnecessary. Ultimately the same could be argued for men's and women's soccer, men's tennis, etc. and it would just get a bit unruly. Definitely should add last year's softball conference title to the superlatives on the front page though. Go Phoenix!
