Elon locked up the outright SoCon title last night with CofC drawing with Wofford. Seemed unlikely a week ago that CofC would go winless in their final two, but it worked out well for Elon.
The tie against Duke last night has to have them postioned well for an at large bid as well if they don't win the SoCon tournament. I hope they at least get to Cary next week so I can head over to the game.

SoCon tournament soccer champs again!
Gotta believe they will be hosting in the first round. If so, with football being done at Rhodes, I'd like to see the match played at Rhodes.

Agree EU99....with the crowds the team has been able to draw in Rhodes, they should have a good shot to host. That and beating 4 ranked teams during the regular season  Interested to see who they draw in the first round. |

I believe it's at Coastal, which is garbage imo. Not saying Coastal doesn't deserve a home game, but Elon absolutely does over other teams playing at home.

Why do they seed us with one of the four teams we lost to. Why are we away. I understand the socon is not a soccer school but it's total bs

My bad, EFF. In talking to some of the students Saturday night, they seemed pretty sure we'd get to host and possibly get a first-round bye.
Anyway, I was planning on going but that's out the window now.
