Micheal Gray II : 6'1", 220 lbs, 4.72 40. Good feet with 4.2 shuttle. Listed as a MLB. Has breakdown tackling technique on every play. Very solid. Watches the hips and not the head when tackling. Will be a special player. Plays at Pinecrest HS in Southern Pines. Would look good living the maroon life.

I would say, however, that you should also send this info directly to Swepson. I doubt he or any of his staff look at this board regularly if at all. Just to see what I could do about that I twittered OC Christopher Pincince and #elonfootball the website. Always good to have a guest of honor browse the board. Cant do anything but bring excitement surrounding the program.

I was looking over on the Elon website for Swepson's email address, which wasn't there. They had the email addresses for all the other coaches. I guess Sweps is above that kind of thing. Interesting how Lembo published his address & would answer your email, typically the same day. Lembo still does that by the way. That's just the difference between a BCS bound head coach and... well... not I guess. I also miss the off season monthly, and in season, (spring ball, summer camp and regular season), weekly updates from the head coach. I especially miss the hard analysis of all three phases of the game in those updates rather than the "Rah Rah we're going to win the conference" periodic updates from Swepson.

Talking Dual Threat QBs. Uriah Adams: 6'1", 180 lbs, 4.5 40. A playmaker with his feet. Can throw on the move. Shifty, elusive. Passes are touch and not slings. Invited to army all American combine and USA international combine. No offers and only been on Hampton campus. . Being recruited as athlete and that opens the door for elon to recruit as QB. This would be an extreme pick up and wouldn't surprise me if be pushed for major PT from day one. Attending HS in Suffolk, Va

Since we have moved a DL to become a OL this year. This is an excellent DE prospect. Isaiah King, 6'2", 255 lbs, 4.88 40,4.7 shuttle. 300 Bench, 420 squat, 91 tackles from the DE spot. Powerful. Good read and react. Plays ball in Mt Airy, NC. Powerful program.Worth mentioning he ran the 100m dash for track team. Worth a good long look.

I will catch up tomorrow. With all the spring games going on I have been checking out the talent. I do wish that spring games within 75 miles of each other cant be held on the same day. That way I could get to twice as many.

Monroe, NC has exploded with prospects in that area. Jaylen Barbour, Treshun Wynn are the headliners. I would really like to be able to get Wynn on campus. He is a 3 star prospect on most sites but is giving schools like App State and UNCC serious thought. Any reason why Elon can't bend his ear a little? Alas that's not who we are talking about. We are talking about Julius Stratford. 6'0", 215 lbs. playing against 3 and 4 star guys everyday. Good instincts and would contribute. Worth going to the area a d bending all of their ears.
