Finally! Something more realistic. I can't stand all of the #1 picks! I think we have a good chance to take the conference, but to pick us as #1 over Davidson is a stretch and at this point unearned. (Not to mention bad luck). The SoCon, while never being known as a basketball conference, promises to be strong this year in the top half. Besides Elon & Davidson, WCU, Samford, App, Chattanooga and even UNCG could field very strong teams this year. NOTHING is a given!

Samford could be the big surprise this year. They have a 6' 10" transfer that will probably be nasty once conference season begins.
