Well his team is crushing it again tonight and then has a huge matchup against Northern Illinois next week.

Good for him! Glad to see he's doing well.
Let's see if he can win the "big game" next week. That was his kryptonite at Elon and Lehigh.

Don't think your comment is totally fair.At Lehigh almost all "big games" were vs. scholarship programs when Lehigh was non scholarship. Additionally, you don't have a .750 winning percentage without winning some big games. Re: Elon, the team although much improved with some talented players was still not a mature program with the depth and experience required to consistently win vs. the upper echelon FCS teams including an exceptional App State ( at the time) in conference foe.

Lehigh fans will say the the same thing oldfan. Opinions are opinions and I, as well as others, share the same. Thinks about it for a second: 1. 2nd season - Two chances to win the conference crown. Both of those were losses to Furman and el Cid 2. 3rd Season - Chance to win the conference - the blow out to Wofford stopped it. Chance for the playoffs with an at large bid on the last game of the season - blown out by Liberty. 3. 4th season - chance to win the SoCon conference outright - blown out by App. I'm not saying he was not a successful coach. He builds teams well, but seemingly has a lot of trouble getting the program over the hump. Again, Lehigh fans can attest to this. It's actually something many of their fans talked about at length on AGS shortly after the hire.

If you feel a program should be successful and win all these games after two or three seasons after winning only a couple of games prior then your expectations were not met.
