The Phoenix travels to Boulder this Friday to face Colorado, who is now #21 in the nation following their win over Kansas last week. There should be a very good Elon contingency at the game with Ryan Winters and Tanner Samson, both from the Denver area, heading home. Matt Matheny also spent some time with Colorado head coach Tad Boyle this past summer at the World University Games with Team USA.
Should be a fun game. Maybe Elon can catch the Buffs off-guard coming off their big win over Kansas.

Checked and confirmed that this game is on Timewarner's Pac-12 Network (i.e., shown locally for those of us in the triad). Colorado's record is impressive - let's hope the Phoenix come out and surprise some people.

It would really be nice to get a signature win this season.

You guys make some noise tonight. I'll be tuned in on TV.
Colorado has been playing really well, but with their recent win over Kansas maybe this becomes a trap game for them. Both teams coming off fairly lengthy breaks as well.
The threes need to fall tonight and Elon needs to limit 2nd chance opportunities for Colorado. Elon is amongst the worst in the nation on the boards so hopefully we'll see some improvement over the next few games.
Go Phoenix!

Well we made our fair share of 3's - Koch was on fire. That kept it within reach for a while. However they had a lot of size down low and length on the perimeter - we had better shooters, but they had better athletes and it showed at times.

I was at the game. We just did not shoot it well enough or rebound to make it close. I thought the officiating was brutal. 46 FT for Colorado - 15 for Elon.
We are not aggressive enough taking it to the paint and I must say it looks like a few of our players have regressed from last year.
