I'm feeling really good about this hire. I think he will bring a much needed edge to the program. Competition and hard work are coming. We have a huge hill to climb - but Skrosky has experience in rebuilding.
Things I Like: • Proven Offensive System • Familiar with the culture of Elon • Has a Lembo mentality - hard and fair • Knows the product he's selling - instant credibility • Has never stopped recruiting North Carolina • Already has a staff in mind
We need to get better defensively. I'm not worried about our offense.
I'm not expecting an overnight success story. It's off to a good start, though!

Really pumped about this hire, seems like a terrific fit. Any info on his contract term? I read it's a multi-year contract, but that's all I heard - I'm curious if it's 2,3,4 year deal.

Excited about this hire. Out of curiosity went to Ball State message board to see if anything was posted - apparently they like Skrosky well enough that they are hoping he may come back when Lembo decides to leave, even if that's as soon as next year. They love Lembo but see writing on the wall as to his future opportunities - not Wake, not UConn, maybe not this season, but they accept that they may only have him another year.

I hate to disappoint the BSU fans, but I seriously doubt he will ever return to BSU. Of course, anything can change, but Skrosky fell in love with the south when he was here before & regardless of what happens here at Elon, I don't see him leaving the south again. He and Suzanne have no children & she is a CPA so I doubt very seriously money will ever be a primary issue for them. He also praised Elon and the community over & over again in the press conference. He also said he plans to be here "for a long, long time", which I believe. He could wind up being like Ayers at Wofford.
