In classic SoCon Tourney style the first game gets tied up in the top of the ninth and is going to extras, so Elon is likely to start a little late today.

Bakker's worst outing of the year comes at the worst possible time. We can't hold a lead. Tough.

Oh, I know. Especially given the challenges of playing lots of state supported schools with much lower tuition costs and lower academic standards. I still contend that Kennedy has performed miracles over the years he has been here to have 600+ wins and winning seasons year in and year out. One gets spoiled & greedy with what we've had though. In addition, We will have a ton of talent coming back & should compete very favorably in the CAA.

A disappointing end to a down season. I agree that based on how scholarships work in baseball that Kennedy has done amazing to keep us as consistent as we have been year in and year out with Elon's tuition vs. that of state schools. I was surprised to see that the CAA had 3 top 100 RPI teams - UNCW and CofC are known, but William & Mary was up there this year. We are easily a top 3 team in that league every year I would think, even in what would be a down year for Elon.
