In case you missed this in the game notes, I found the info below interesting. Let's hope the OL is on a fast learning curve!
TRUE FRESHMEN PLAY: Against Duke, Elon played a total of four true freshmen. Seeing action in their first collegiate game were defensive back #Malcolm Galloway#, linebackers #Bruno Anyangwe# and #Johnathan Jackson# and wide receiver #Tre Lennon#.
Including those four, a total of 14 players saw their first collegiate action against Duke. Red-shirt freshmen #Chris Blair#, #Ikenna Nwokeji#, #Demetrius Oliver#, R.J. Pearsall, #Justin Snavely#, #Anthony Hambright#, #Kelly Brooks-Muse#, #Rev Ford#, #Dondre Howell# and #Nick Groll# also played.
YOUNG UP FRONT: The five offensive linemen who started Elon's season opener at Duke entered the game with a combined 33 starts. Of those, 31 were made by senior #Austin Sowell# and two by junior #Jacob Ingle#. Sophomores #Austin Richardson# and #O'Shane Morris# and red-shirt freshman #Ikenna Nwokeji# all recorded the first starts of their careers against the Blue Devils.

In looking at the two-deep, we have a ton of youth on both sides of the ball. I hope this bodes well for the future. We have a solid coaching staff and the kids have bought in. Hopefully, good things are ahead. One bright side of Swepson's tenure is we were able to redshirt lots of linemen and other players. I hope this pays off.

I am not going to name names...yet... but looking at some of Swepson's signings have been real busts... for whatever the reason some cannot misses are missing on the 2 deep. But it is all about development and others seizing an opportunity. I am looking to see if We have some real play-makers and go to guys as We match up w/ A&T

There were some pretty good signings from Sweps' tenure as well. More good than bad IMO. As you said, development is the key.
