Would people quit talking about our arena.
I can't wait until we draw 1500 in a 5000 seat arena.
We don't need it. Graduation, that's one day a year. Speakers and concerts...that's 10 days. We will be wasting our money to build a big arena. Win some Darn games and sell it out for 7years straight. Then we can build it.

If you don't want the new convocation center then stop whining about not having a good big man or other recruits we all seem to want and kiss the "winning some games and sell out for 7 years straight" goodbye. And before you pull the Lucas Troutman card, he was one in a million; a 6'10" coordinated big man who had bigger time offers but wanted to stay closer to home and preferred a small college.

I agree ^^^^ one in a million. While he was there it was a guard oriented team, 50% of his points came from trash and his full potential was not achieved. It is and will be very difficult to attain a true center at 6'10"+ without a larger crowd, larger arena and getting the big man his touches. Without a winning season, with remarkable efforts, there is no recognition and most big men would like to play after college. You start the year out with a potential All American and no effort was made to see that happen. We do not pound it inside the way we should. We never will. We lack confidence, we need leaders (not one leader), we continue to not make adjustments, you need more than one big man, we need big men who can and are allowed to shoot from the outside and last but not least we get out coached quite a bit.
