Elon up 2-1 top of third with the blue hens at bat. Runners on second and third one out. Game has been a rain delay since around 130. Game will be reevaluated at 430. This is a must win. Looser will either play late late late tonight after next game or early morning tomorrow. With this delay original pictures are gone, but with only 2 innings pitched probably can come back tomorrow.

Starting pitcher didn't come back and Elon fell behind but scored 5 in bottom 9 for the come from behind win! Still alive...

Yes I want the win but its a shame Delaware lost for their pictures sake. The repeater that came in in the third after the delay pitched lights out. He's one of the stars of the game. With that said congrats to Elon not hanging their head in the ninth. And doing what it takes

Northwestern wins it in the ninth. W&M will face Delaware at 1:30 with UNCW/North at 5. Elon/CoC will follow at 8:30. All other looser bracket games moved to tomorrow with schedule released later today

Delaware holds off William and Mary to stay alive. The lowest loosing seed from Elon/Coc or North/UNCW will face them with the winner facing the other loosing team.

As bad as pitching has been most of the season, the lack of offense killed them. The comeback on Wednesday was great and a lot of fun to watch, but outside of that 9th inning, they were pretty bad at the plate. They had 11 hits and 3 runs in the other 26 innings combined.
On a side note, I really liked Charleston as a host. Was a great location and much better than UNCW. I hope they continue to keep it at Patriots Point going forward. Also, great to see the CAA get two teams into the NCAA tourney and both as 2 seeds. Hopefully Elon can get things turned around and be on the same level as these two teams again in the near future.
