He went and grabbed his stuff and came right back to work aka the locker room. It was a point that seems like was proven. He got demoted to scout team which in the real world happens all the time. It happens when you arnt as good at your job as others. You must not be as good as the others.

Fyi...After all this unfair treatment to an established player he GOT SUSPENDED from STONEYBROOK game for missing practice the day he got fed up from unfair treatment because he's a scholarship player who by the way earned every penny who stood up for himself. Are you serious? He didn't whine. He stood up like men are supposed to and got punished. They were more worried about his locker....Not getting their backside handed to them every Saturday...d**n...Keep pressing on Tracey...

You absolutely wouldn't be fired in real life. If it is company policy, and you are not following it, the company can enforce it. I have watched companies do it. In this case, was it an overreaction to move his stuff? Maybe. Did he overreact by quitting on the spot, yes. Honestly in the real world if you don't follow policy, you get warnings then action then termination. If you throw a tantrum and quit, very doubtful you come back to the company. Based on the story, I see nothing wrong with sitting him for a game. He threw a tantrum and quit, missed a practice and you have to show behavior such as this is unacceptable.
No one would be fired for moving stuff from a locker or desk in the real world..... But people would be let go permanently for quitting like he did.

Btw... These guys are young adults, not kids. Overreaction maybe a good description but your constant use of terms unfair, etc scream of a bias towards coppedge. Life isn't fair, anywhere. People need to learn to man up and deal with situations better
