Nice convincing road win, wish we would of played with that time of determination and poise all season long.
I predicted 8 CAA wins, I was wrong.
Looks like at best we will finish with is 7, if we can close out the CAA with a road with over Towson who mopped us earlier this year.
Towson has been pretty competitive recently, lots of close losses. Lost to Hofstra in OT.
I think it is a winnable game after we put together such a good game but I wouldn't bet on it. Will for sure be underdogs in Vegas.
Glad the guys did not quit and kept putting in effort this season.
We could finish in a tie for 6th (losing the tiebreak) I think?
We also could be tied for last place in the conference I think? Too tired to break it all down right now.
Pretty much in summary of the CAA this year:
Tier 1 Hofstra Northeastern
Tier 2 C of C
Tier 3 Delaware?
After that, it is a cluster.
You have a team like W&M, how much better are they really than Elon or UNCW?
They are 9-8 in CAA but only 13-16 overall.
Either way, Elon will be playing Day 1 of the CAA Tournament

A good win against a team who is equally as bad as us (both 6-11 in conference). Right now W&M is 3 games better than us in conference. There really is only 2 tiers at this point and you could arguably say it is only 1 with the top three in it.

Yeah, it really is the top 3 and everyone else right now in the CAA.
Delaware was strongly in the 4th spot but a loss to us and some others have dragged them down. They probably truly are the 4th best team in the conference though.
It would be nice to win a conference tournament game this year. March always brings a sense of miracles are possible. Are they anyway we could be Hofstra or Northeastern when they are fresh and we played a game the day before? Nearly impossible.
We did take Hofstra to the wire at home but on one day rest, neutral court. That is a tall hill to climb.
And being honest, the day 1 game will be a coin flip.

Did you know 34 points in a game is the most by any player in the Elon History. I believe since going D1.

Did you know 34 points in a game is the most by any player in the Elon History. I believe since going D1. Definitely not the most in a single game in Elon history. If I remember correctly, Jesse Branson has that record. Also, I know for a fact that both Isenbarger and, if memory serves, Brendan Rowell had either equal or better games in the D1 era.
