I was kind of hoping he'd be in a more direct coaching role, but I think he's a phenomenal addition regardless.
Schrage said on the radio the other day that his recruiting focus will start in North Carolina and include Virginia, Georgia, and the northeast. Given Rick Lewis' work, I have little doubt that Tyler will be significant in (re)building those connections here and in Virginia.

Very anxious to see who else he adds. He mentioned he wanted experience in place. I was hoping to hear something by the end of the week in addition to Lewis.

I am too. Given Elon's budget for assistants, I expect they'll be on the younger side. There are a bunch of quality assistant coaches out there looking for work due to head coaching changes. I'm really curious to see who he lands.

He will fit right in. A prima donna quitter who moved from school to school. Count how many high schools he left.

Yet all I see is a guy increasing his competition level and status at every step along the way. Had CC recruited this guy to Elon from the Preps no doubt We would have won a lot more games and not needed a coaching change? Pretzel logic?
