From Yahoo:
The Associated Press reports the Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to place SS Chad Nkang (wrist) on the physically unable to perform list.

By MARK LONG The Associated Press
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars placed receiver Reggie Williams and four others on the physically unable to perform list Saturday.
Receiver Jerry Porter (hamstring), Jeremy Mincey (wrist), safety Chad Nkang (wrist) and tight end George Wrighster (knee) also were placed on the PUP list.
The five players can be activated at any time during training camp, but putting them on the list protects the Jaguars from being on the hook for their entire salaries if the injuries prevent them from making the final roster.
Porter had surgery to repair a torn hamstring last week and will miss at least the entire preseason. Mincey and Nkang are recovering from broken wrists. And Wrighster missed all of minicamp and organized team activities following knee surgery.
Williams sprained his right knee recently and was a surprise addition to the injured list.
The Jaguars also opened practice without first-round draft pick Derrick Harvey, who remains unsigned, and star running back Fred Taylor. Taylor was attending the funeral of Samari Rolle's father in South Florida.

NKang is still on the PUP list and the Jags have until Week 6 to cut him, activate him or officially put him on the IR for the season. From what I have read there shouldn't be too much fear of him being cut as he is pinned into the "special teams" role with his play last year and is a key player. Hopefully he recovers from this injury soon.

If I read the Jaguars web site correctly, NKang is no longer considered injured and is listed as linebacker, #42...anybody have information?

He's nowhere on the roster on their web site: www.jaguars.com/team/roster.aspxWhen on the PUP list you have to sit out the first six weeks. Then the teams have three weeks to make a decision on you. If nothing happens you go on IR for the season.

I checked today and NKang isn't listed on the Active or Inactive lists on the Jags website. I'm assuming he must have some sort of serious wrist injury. I would have to assume he is still on the PUP list which means he can't be cut or traded. Bad news is that if he does not return in 3 weeks he will be on the IR for the entire season. Hopefully whatever the wrist injury is he has had surgery (if necessary) or he has had enough time off to make it back by week 6. The Jags are pretty banged up this season, especially their O-Line be great for Chad to get back and get some positive attention.

They actually have until week nine to place him on IR...PUP requires you to be out for 6 weeks.

Bye week welcome
With a week off, the Jaguars could get a batch of injured players back in the lineup for the Browns game on Oct. 26.
Del Rio listed center Brad Meester, free safety Reggie Nelson, defensive tackle Rob Meier, defensive end Jerome Mincey and linebacker Chad Nkang as players who could be available against Cleveland.
"Meester is a guy we should get back," Del Rio said. "I feel fairly confident we will get Reggie Nelson back. Mincey has been champing at the bit."
Del Rio said guard Chris Naeole might be able to practice soon. In addition, players placed on the physical unable to perform list before the season, such as Mincey and tight end George Wrighster, can come off the PUP list this week and take three weeks to be evaluated.
Del Rio said there's no need to rush Wrighster.
"George is still working at it ... he still has a chance," Del Rio said of his status for the rest of the season.
