Things looked fairly even, aside from the running game. 1st Downs, TO, passing yards.....we had the advantage of TOP.
USF player, George SELVIE, must have played an AMAZING game on the defensive side of the ball. He alone tallied QB 4 sacks!
Once again, great effort by our extraorindary young team.

Selvie was all over the place. He could and should be a relatively high draft pick at some point. I was really impressed with the Elon's ability to move the ball against a highly tauted IA defense. The Elon defense was equally as impressive. For the first quarter the Elon D looked better than USF. Let's hope the guys are pumped for the home opener against WV Wesleyan. I'm looking forward to Saturday night.
Go Phoenix!

EU99, I think the team has some confidence and knows they can play with anyone this year, especially the D.
It looks like our offense will be able to move the ball this year and keep the D off field for a while.
I'll be down for the Liberty game, along with a couple of friends. I think this will be the 1st home opener I've missed in 7 years.
