Not sure on Wakes cradentials, but we usually do pretty well against them. What are your thoughts on this game, do we have a 4 game win streak now???

Wake is 15-15 overall. They shut out UNC yesterday 6-0. Could go either way but I like our chances at home. I wish it were a weekend game as we seem to struggle during these mid week games. Lets hope the guys put that to an end. I believe Booker is set to start for us.

Booker is going to have to get soem control. With him pitching, I am honestly a little leery about our chances tomorrow.

Good win for the guys tonight! 8-2 over Wake and Booker looked solid. We are now 2-6 in mid-week games - hopefully this can turn it around for us!

ACC win is a good start in turning around mid-week record only We aren't that far off considering the opponents 2 #1's UNC & USC. UNCw High Point losses do hurt but that's history,

It is a good win. Any non-conference win is good at this point. And it made our RPI jump by about 20 pts. Now, we have to get serious for GSU. They may be down, but we have got to show them who is in charge.

Great win last night. I like the fact that Kennedy is playing with the rotation and trying to find something that works best. I always laugh when I read Wake's message board re: baseball because every year they are all surprised we beat them as if it doesn't happen every single year.
Go Phoenix!

From Baseball America: Wake Forest junior third baseman Willy Fox didn’t play against Elon last night, and he might miss a few more games after fighting off a burglar in his house Monday and suffering a laceration on his leg. An intruder entered Fox’ apartment late Monday night, and Fox tried to stop him, according to a statement released by the Demon Deacons today. He was cut on his left leg and taken to the hospital, where he spent the night and was released on Tuesday. Fox, a transfer from Arizona State, is batting .344 with four homers and 27 RBIs, and he has provided crucial protection for Allan Dykstra in the Wake Forest lineup. He’s listed as day to day.
