how does UNC get so many home games there 23-4 at home and 3-1 away??? They play only 17 away games, we play 22 seems like there a little stacked at home

UNC can do this because they are getting so many of the snowbirds. They have money to throw around and get teams to come down for a guarantee. Its ridiculous, but if you have the money, and you are good, you can pull this off.

last year U of South Carolina opened with 19 straight home-games. other poster was right, new Golden-Rule , The one with the GOLD- RULES!

You can schedule your home games however you want. You can't go north in February (unless you're playing Minnesota in the Metrodome or another snowbird team in a dome). That incredibly limits your options.
I still think for UNC, it is a bit excessive and it'd be good for them to take a three-game set on the road to an SEC foe. Yet, UNC doesn't have as many options for February as you think because numerous other powers are in the same boat.
