LOTS of home cookin' going on in Durham, NH today!! Targeting called on a TOTALLY CLEAN HIT by Asunji Mattox getting him disqualified. Facemask by UNH corner causing a bobble & INT... not called. Phantom interference call in the endzone. Not saying we aren't over matched, but this is BS. I thought the SoCon refs were bad. All of the above were clearly bad calls shown by replay. Guess what? No replay official in NH today. Pretty bush league IMO.

Agreed on a terrible call on the targeting, but this is just a butt kicking. No composure and just completely outmatched on the field and on the sidelines. No two ways about it.
Go Phoenix!

More dropsies as well. Again, I'm not saying the passes are perfectly thrown, but the passes are catchable. Once again, the receivers aren't stepping up. We need someone to step up so badly!

This aint gardner webb or Fayetteville state. Welcome to football gents. Skrosky should take note on how to call a game. Short passes over the middle and a terriffic run game. Keep throwing that bubble screen. Hasnt worked in 5 games. Why did he put DT in the game? You know its going well when the announcers state your best offensivve call is a hard count.

Christiansen needs to look for McCray. So far this season he's the only one that's stepped up.

Tough Game to watch - at least it wasn't a shutout. Bad officiating calls - was this a high school game? And Why don't we ever rush their punter? We fair caught almost every punt so that could of happened if we rushed their punter anyway and at least we would have made them a little nervous - never made it to their second line of blockers as we pulled up short of them each time - UGH!
And what about those things behind the right ear of many of the UNH players? was that a receiver or something? - I have never seen that before - reminded me of the Secret Service!

Lost internet service at about 7:30 or I'd have been much more involved!! There's plenty of negative stuff to talk about so I'm going to think a little bit more before I complain ad nauseaum. One very positive aspect of the game - Daniel Thompson! Now I know he threw 4 pics, but he was put in a position where he had to take some risks. I really like his poise in the pocket. He never got happy feet. If I was charged with making the QB starter decision for next week it would be DT. I really feel bad for Tre. He showed so much promise last year. He just doesn't seem to know which way to turn. Once again very impressed with Tereak. If we have a go to receiver this year it's him. We saw Gentry early on but not so much in the 2nd half. I hope he didn't get hurt. I'd describe BJ's performance today as encouraging but very rusty. Looking forward to getting Summers back. Warrick looked really good today receiving wise. I'd really like to see the TEs more involved. Overall the game is about what I expected scoring wise. We just had no answer for #27. Really wish we had a RB with that kind of acceleration and speed with that awesome decision making.
Lots to build on. Youth was, once again very apparent today. Looking forward to see how we respond at UR next weekend.

What were those things stuck behind the UNH players' right ears?

First 25 minutes were awful offensively. No running game. Run on second down for zero yards - every single series. And UNH defended the read option perfectly, never letting CC run. And receivers... Not sure where to start. No separation at all. And so we go to the bubble screen and the ball gets there just before the defender - blocking would be nice. And the drops. I quit counting a couple games ago.
Once UNH went to a loose zone defense and we quit even trying to run, we gained yards with DT. But don't crown him just yet. You don't throw 4 picks and earn anything. There's a reason CC didn't go back in the game, and it wasn't lack of performance, though clearly the O went nowhere early in the game.
