It appears Marquise Wright and Malcolm Summers will be out this weekend.
Any word on Corey Mitchell?

Didn't he leave the UNH game injured?

Review rhe two-deep. He's on it. Not listed as injured.
I'm a little worried about facing the passing game of UR. This will be a huge test for our DBs. If we fail, it could get ugly.
Richmond and W&M should be our measuring sticks. We competed last year with the Tribe. However, UR dominated us in every way last season.

So I made a very optimistic prediction for this weekend back in the UNH thread (DT starts, throws for 300 yards and 3 TDs and elon wins 31-28)... Anyone else care to share their predictions?

We are playing the three toughest teams in the CAA in a row with the first two away. UNH was a learning curve and now they know they have to compete harder. Looking forward to going to Richmond and hoping for the best but seems like the Spider's offense has been clinking on all cylinders. I think it will be closer than we think.....27-17 Richmond. DT if healthy should start to see what he can do in a full game. I like CC a lot but it seems DT may be the better passer (interceptions acknowledged). Anyway..FWIW...I think we will be pleasantly surprised by this Richmond game and after a tough game with JMU we will see a couple of wins....maybe up to 3....giving us 5 wins in all.....a vast improvement over last year and the Swepson years. Go Phoenix

My opinion is, pick a d**n starter and stick with it. This merry-go-round is not going to end well for the team or kids. He has to pick one. This is the game. After Sat. The rotation has to stop. Neither kid benefits from the shuffle.
When you have two quarterbacks, you have NONE!

Scott Riddle had Terrell Hudgins & Aaron Mellette to name 2 outstanding players Riddle was able to do some ridiculous things, but he had at least two play makers in every game. Notice I said at least two.

Both he and Terrell Hudgins set a single season record for tandem receptions and both finished with 1,000 receiving yards that season. Mayers was a beast, and finished his career as Elon's all time leader in all purpose yards. That record was broken just a few years later by Hudgins.

Neither kid benefits from the shuffle. When you have two quarterbacks, you have NONE! Inget the feeling Skrosky is just going to let them slug it out. I doubt CC will play against Richmond due to his hand injury. So DT will start and shouldn't be looking over his shoulder. In the games where there was no competition, CC looked comfortable and getting more so as the games went on. In the games where they split, the guy coming in off the bench looked far more relaxed. Maybe that goes to your point of just picking one...

Just a few of the play makers Scott Riddle threw to during his career: Terrell Hudgins, Aaron Mellette, Michael Mayers, Kierre Brown, Sean Jeffcoat, Bo Williamson, Lance Camp, Rasaun Rorie , A.J. Harris.
Our receiving corps needs to forget about watching films of our weekly opponents and spend the rest of the season watching film of these guys. They are definitive play makers. So far only one current receiver on our roster even comes close.
