Quarterbacks looked bad, lots of interceptions and poor passes. Wasn't a great showing for the O.

Spring games usually favor the defense. They know what the offense is doing.
As for QBs, CC did just fine. 9-14, 110 yards, 2 TD, 1 tipped INT.
Whgat bothered me was a porous O line and zero running game. But then again, the D knew what was coming.

the video highlight's were not kind to #80 Lennon balls bouncing off his hand and drops I hope our DB's are superior and We will get some WR's open my gut tells me more freshmen will get on the field this fall.

The passes that bounced of hands was thrown behind him or extremely high (as most passes the entire game to ALL receivers) the "dropped ball" was actually the results of a thunderous blind side hit and great play by corner. Defense was in backfield and jumping (3 year old routes) on a regular. Next time come out and support the team and don't critique players proformances on a 3min video clip.

Agreed the QB play has to move to a higher level.

80 did have a rough day. He had a couple drops that shouldn't have happened. One was low and away, but when your hands are on it... Also, on the pass he tipped that was then picked, he should have kept running rather than stopping and jumping.
Is this a big deal? Hope not.
And Nellie is right. QB play needs to be strong. Especially if we don't have a running game again.

Also, about the video highlights... Why not show the touchdowns? Strange that those plays would end up on the editing floor.

Tough to tell much about the offense from the highlights.
The RBs look like they'll make a difference catching from the backfield. I wasn't at the game, but are folks being too hard on 80, Mr Lennon? In the video he went up for a severely overthrown ball, was tipped and intercepted. You would have to be 7' tall to put both hands on it. I think they'll be fine come regular season.
The defense looks pretty strong/fast, and also some real play-makers.
Skrosky and the team still has my full support.

Good to read positive accurate analysis of players play. I've read this blog for some time now and it's rare that I read accurate or positive feedback from Elon "Fans" postings. Also Mr. Lennon is coming off a hyperextended knee injury, as well as, a intensely aggravated strained left hamstring which was very noticeable as he planted to make his cuts and exploding out of stance. I spoke with many players after the scrimmage and they're very optimistic about their individual efforts and team as a whole. They're hard enough on themselves so let's come out and support their hard efforts. Let's, as "fans" show them our physical support rather than backbiting their efforts. I believe Coach Skrosky WILL have these guys ready come Sept. 3 and I will be there to support them! Who's wit me!

You better get some thicker skin if you're going to be on a fan message board.
Don't forget that we are all fans and want nothing but the best for Elon and its programs. It is year three and we should expect this team to improve. I still think we are a 5/6 win team this season.
