Ludicrous to even state that any of these players are transferring. Not one will move to a D1 school and to homer's point you don't throw away a $50K per year scholarship.
"Mass exit". No way. You obviously do not understand college football or the basic rules.
Not happening!

Who is CS?
Not one scholarship player will leave voluntarily. Their options are minimal and less attractive which isn't saying much.
I agree this year's recruting class most likely will be crap. Who wants to embrace the grind?
7 wins in 3 years? No thanks.

Even with a new coach this class would probably be carp. As was Skroskys first class

Texas firing Charlie Strong after 3 seasons with a 16-20 record. Perhaps the difference between one program committed to winning and ours which is hoping to win someday.
I know it's FBS vs FCS, but it's all relative and another reflection of culture.

Texas is flush with $$$ and has one of the most passionate fan bases in the country. Until the Elon donors step up and demand changes while withholding their $$$, nothing will change.
The most sobering thought is that we haven't hit bottom yet. It is going to get worse & the univeristy leadership doesn't care.

Agreed they have plenty of money, but we (Elon) aren't dealing with million dollar salaries. I know it's not apples to apples, but it's indicative of expectations. I think we can all agree on that.

Absolutely agree with you right point.
All of us just need to stop donating. When that happens, Leo has no choice but to take action.

He's going to get another year. However, it will be interesting to see if staff changes are made on the offensive side of the ball.
The underperforming offense lies directly on Rich's lap. It's his offense. It needs to be changed. Let's see if that happens.

Problem about giving is it affects the good but lesser known sports more than football or basketball

I'm holding out hope. There are coaches across the country right now that inherited bad teams, had several bad years after taking the helm and are looking at 10 win seasons. The team over there in Boulder is one that comes to mind.
Offense must be addressed.
