Cancel the game, add another non conference game if possible. HB2 js not an Elon law and is not subject to the provisions of the law as we are a private institution. It's a pity Cuomo painted such a broad brush.

If they just won't come, that is the obvious solution.

Give Elon the Win. If Como wants to ban travel let him take the back lashing

Hofstra is a private. We either play at Stoney Brooke or don't play them this year.

UA men's basketball had to cancel a game at Duke earlier this year, so I doubt they'll make an exception for a football game at Elon. None of us are happy about it either. Unless NC pols sort out the bathroom business or our Gov has a moment of clarity it's probably a no go unless they can work out a neutral site in VA or something. The whole thing is ridiculous IMHO.

I really hope we don't agree to a neutral site game. Whether you agree or disagree with the law, I don't think it should be on us to make concessions. It looks like this is parents weekend as well, which is probably making it even more complicated/necessary to work something out.
Go Phoenix!

I agree that there should be no concessions on the part of Elon. And there's no reason for a forfeit either. Just cancel it and try to fill it with an OOC. It's 100% on Cuomo's shoulders and should not be a detriment to either school. Let's hope it all works out.

The problem with cancel and an OOC is it makes the OOC schedule uneven and could benefit or hurt a team in the rankings. Not that I am saying Elon has a shot to be fighting for number 1. The reason I say forfeit is that give Albany recourse to show discontent to como

UNCW I get, it's run by the state. Elon, it doesn't make sense other than a bully state sticking it to another state.
So each time a new social engineered issue comes up, will we be expecting this again for states that act or interpret differently?
Or what about bans on the Fed's who, by their on laws, don't recognize these identities in the list they protect?
I say cancel it.
