Congrats to the ladies for back to back CAA titles. They lost a lot off last year's team and still managed to pull it off with a relatively young team.
I think I heard on the broadcast this is the first time someone other than the 1 or 2 seed has won the CAA women's conference tourney since 1992.
Go Phoenix!

Pretty amazing run for the women! Congrats to them!
With an RPI of 31, hopefully the selection committee with reward them with something higher than a 12 seed (I think they were an 11 last year?).

FWIW, Charlie Creme w/ ESPN has them at a 13 playing Texas A&M at College Station.

One of the regional sites is Raleigh. If they ended up there hopefully they could get a good crowd cheering them on.
I can't recall if the tourney allows rematches in the first round and NC State will be at home, so that leaves one other game open in Raleigh.
I do like the attitude of the team not just being happy to be there and wanting to win. With the right matchup and the way they are playing it's certainly possible.
Go Phoenix!

Wow, good call euphoenix99!
A few connections between the 2 schools, which include State's AD.
Looking at the box from the earlier match-up, it appears the 2nd quarter was the problem. Quarters 1, 3 & 4 were all tight.
Would love to see them come out hot and take down the Wolfpack!

I thought it was at PNC arena per ESPN, but seems like it's at Reynolds. At least they have some familiarity with the venue.
State went to the line A LOT more in the first game too.
Go Phoenix!
