Do we have any recruits coming in for next year?

www.verbalcommits.com/schools/elonIt's hard to tell how much of an impact these guys will have right away. None seem to be heavily recruited by top mid major programs At face value it's no different than the recruits Matheny was bringing in without the Schar Center. Go Phoenix!

Matheny has to be banking on this class to be able to contribute and be his saving grace. Not even interested in this season because of the man running this sh*t show of a program.

I have to say recent recruits have been disappointing. I hope they are on a rapid development curve.

Isn't 6-8 kind of short for a post player at this level?

Not if he can jump. Plus, it is only 1 inch shorter than 6-9. I’ll take a 6-8 who can play, has heart, and likes to mix it up over a 6-11 who is passive and would rather shoot the 18 footer and not rebound.

Personally, I'd rather have an aggressive 6'10" that can shoot & block some shots. A la Lucas Troutman. I'm ready to start, at long last, seeing some Davidson level recruits. This is what we had been expecting now for 10 years. We had a taste with Lucas, but a drought since then. I just don't want to see any more short and/or lead footed "big" men.

Having just toured the Schar Center We had better get some better recruits as the facility deserves the quality commensurate with the edifice they will be playing. The Elon Fans need to raise their game as well. Totally impressed.

Just noticed on women’s roster that Rashika White a rising Jr. 6-4 great post player last 2 years, is missing. What happened to her?

I actually skimmed the roster yesterday when they announced the new recruit and didn’t even notice. That’s tough to lose Johnson and White the same year.
Looks like she’s bringing in more size though, but hard to replace 6’4” and experience. As young as last year’s team was, it seems this one is even younger. No seniors and two juniors.
Go Phoenix!
