Elon announced a few weeks ago a commit named Issac Harrell who was starting to gain some DI attention and will be a nice addition to the Elon Roster. Today they just announced a 6'7" Forward committing to Elon. Kendall Campbell is a highly recruited player with offers from major Power 5 schools such as Georgia, Ole Miss, Alabama, Wichita St., Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech just to name a few. It is believed he was leading heavily toward Georgia Tech but has committed to Elon. This is a big time recruit for Elon. Looks like Coach Taylor and his staff are on the right track to getting this team where we all want it to be.

Seems like a good get. From what I read it seems like most those programs backed off after he tore his ACL and then reclassified to spend a year rehabbing, but assuming he can get back to full strength, quite the get for us. A rare freshman that looks physically ready to play for Elon. Also nice to get a recruit that’s only other offers weren’t D2 or D3 schools.

Also, and this may be a surprise to some, but Elon, with the Duke Health connection, has excellent rehab personnel and facilities. A player coming off ACL repair has an excellent outlook for getting back to normal by coming to Elon.

Will he not transfer out after he rehabs? Are we paying for something that another school will benefit from?

I mean I’d rather get one good year from a player than four years of mediocre play.
