OOC schedule shaping up.
Nov 6 - at Wake Forest Nov 9 - ETSU Nov 12 - at North Dakota Nov 17 - IUPUI (Winthrop MTE) Nov 18 - Holy Cross (Winthrop MTE) Nov 19 - Winthrop (Winthrop MTE) Nov 27 - Presbyterian Dec 3 - at Radford Dec 10 - at UNCG Dec 22 - at South Carolina Dec 29 - Valparaiso
Not a bad schedule imo. A couple of P5 teams and several teams that should be fairly evenly matched with Elon. I'm assuming there will be a couple of non D-1 opponents that also get added as home games.
I also read where the Winthrop MTE will not be at Winthrop, rather at the Rock Hill Events Center. The Events Center is very close to campus as well. Maybe closer than the Coliseum.
Lastly, someone noted earlier in the summer that Palmquist left the team. I saw where he returned to Rutgers.
Go Phoenix!

Solid non-conf slate. Two P5 games seems about right considering where we are at right now as a program. Some solid mid-majors in there as well in Valpo and UNCG. Couple of disappointing things however. Why can’t we get App State and/or ECU on the schedule?? It’s a great fit, and let’s face it, neither of those schools draw well for basketball (actually, their attendance is pathetic. I went to an App game last year along with about 400 other people). You would think the prospect of bringing a hundred or so fans from Elon (or perhaps a few more) might be attractive. Also, why is High Point gone?? We should have them home and home every year, as we do UNCG. But overall, a good schedule.
