Great win on the road. If the game had gone on another 3 or 4 minutes, not sure if we would have held on, but a win is win. Especially on the road. Huge game next week against Bill and Mary, who are 4-0. Reserved tix already sold out, only Hill tix remain. If the weather is nice, could be 12,000 at the game. Going to be awesome!

Campbell’s QB doesn’t miss his targets. He may get sacked and his receivers may drop the ball, but he doesn’t miss. Incredible. Downing is improving, but let’s face it. Hampton is money. I also thought the OL did a very good job for the most part. Looking forward to Bill & Mary in Rhodes.

Just finished watching the FloSports stream after listening to the radio broadcast last night and what a wild game. The offensive playcalling in the first half was as good as I have seen from Folmar in a while, but the second half was rough after the first drive where Hardy had a ball go through his hands for an INT. I will spare you the recap but the Phoenix escaped, Jalen Hampton is special, the OL battled, and the guys are 2-0 in the CAA. A great opportunity awaits in Rhodes next weekend.

Hampton named CAA offensive player of the week. 'Bout time! He leads CAA in rushing and is 7th in nation in total rushing yards and rushing yards per game.
Go, Phoenix!

Hampton named CAA offensive player of the week. 'Bout time! He leads CAA in rushing and is 7th in nation in total rushing yards and rushing yards per game. Go, Phoenix! Big win! I wasn't expecting such a dominant first half, but was glad to see them converting on third down and keeping Campbell's offense off the field. Defense was great against the run. Aside from the Williams rushing TD, Campbell had virtually no success on the ground. Wish they could have avoided the 4Q scare, but that was a solid win either way. Hampton has been fantastic and keeps getting better each week. Only a RS sophomore too. Saturday should be fun and weather looks to be cooperating at the moment. We've lucked out with road games being bad weather weekends and home games being perfect weather. Go Phoenix!

I'm not so sure Campbell's last passing touchdown was a TD. Receiver dragged his toe, but after watching the replay a couple of times it looks like his toe is OB before he had control of the ball. But either way, you have to applaud the effort. I think we may be watching Hajj-Malik Williams on Sundays at some point.
Hampton is one of the best RBs I've ever seen. If our OL gets him past the line of scrimmage, a double digit yard run is pretty well gonna happen. Incredible balance and effort in keeping his feet moving.
Yes, Downing is getting better throwing the ball, but 13 for 27 with total yardage of 116 won't be good enough against W&M, Nova, Delaware or even NCCU.
