Well, I kind of thought that just before the NCSU v Duke game...but first half, the 'Pack came out and gave the Devils all they could handle (2nd half, well...different story)...anyway, Davidson is always tough at home. I hate the way they put their student section behind the opposing team's bench ... and give that team's fans a few rows in upper section on opposite side of gym...but, our guys do have talent and if they can go into the game recalling how close they played Davidson at the Nest, they could pull off the upset. Davidson is like Duke though...they seem to get calls in their favor...if we get into foul trouble, it could be ugly.

i dont know what to say tonight. we came out cold and played sloppy. Near the end we light up the 3 point line but every 3 we had curry answered. We let curry own this game and thus we lost

i wouldnt be embarused on this one we played hard just a little sloppy. A ten point loss is not bad especally when you look at how Davidson plays at home

Yep, we've played well enough to just barely loose a lot this season. It looks like the guys have trained hard all season for the two Davidson games. Too bad we lost both of them. Sorry for the negativity, I really feel for the team. I really don't think the talent on this team is that bad - actually, I think it's better than average in the SoCon. We just don't seem to be able to get the chemistry right.

dont worry i wasent saying you were being negative. plus i had 30 min drive to get that game out of my head. For a while i was afraid it was going to be the UNCG game all over again. One thing that did piss me off, was davidson put us in the far corner uper section. i had a terriable view all game. at least last year they had us one section over so we could see the other basket.

All I have to say about this one is:
Curry is disgustingly good.
And... why hasn't Adam played all year? He played one of the best games of his life. We should structure our offense so that TJ shoots 15-20 from beyond the arc.
The woes continue..

I acutally watched the game on MASN here in Richmond. The team looked TERRIBLE during most of the 1st half. In the 2nd they looked better. I echo an earlier comment, there just seems to be no chemistry.
From what I saw, there are 2 players that NEED to be in the lineup nearly the entire game. TJ Douglas and Adam Constantine. Constantine looked awesome, the guy has a lot of hustle.
I'm not to sure what's wrong with Watson, I think he shot something like 3 air balls from beyond the arc last night.

I watched the game on TV too. It is difficult to understand why Constantine got no playing time for several games - unless he was injured. He plays with alot of enthusiasm and rebounds. While Douglas has had a couple games where he shot well, in many others he has not shot well. Also he is not a good rebounder. And speaking of poor shooting, after a great start, Long has lost his shot.

I think Adam was injured, and maybe re-injured during the December travel games. Have also heard that Montel has never fully recovered from his injury last year, but that may be speculation. As for where Davidson puts opposing fans, that's been one of my gripes for several years....I think we should return the favor when they come to the Nest....give one of our fraternities the seats directly behind the D bench and put their fans up in the corner next to curtains on 2nd level, where band used to sit...as far away from their team as they can be. Curry is incredibly good though...and seems like a pretty nice kid, so it's hard not to like him. (unlike a couple of their players who act like arrogant jerks) I enjoy watching him play...it's too bad he's not wearing maroon!
