Does anyone know why they fired Dr. Boyette without any notice or reason? She was a great help to me five years ago, when I worked there. We'd appreciate any insight.

Difference in opinion or management style with the new athletics director perhaps?
It isn't unusual for staff to be let go when some new comes in at the top.
That's my only guess.

Randall said it was a backlash from her supporting last year's seniors regarding Senior day but we may never know.

its not the senior day were complaining about its the fiering of Boyette. I worked with her my fresh semester as team manager. Shes is a very nice person and very helpful

No, you're not complaining about Senior Day or anyone else on the board now. But the last claim is that she was fired for siding with the players on that.

nothing against her personnally, but I think it was time for a change all the way around. to me this is a good thing for Elon athletics.

Sorry to Boyette, but I agree with ea06.
I'm very thankful for who brought our athletics department where it is now, but it's time to take it that much further.
As far as siding with the kids, it is spec.
