He is just trying to stir up crap. Just like he did on the other board. Comes over here talks all his crap about stuff he really knows nothing about. Then tell other people they are wrong. This is why I have yet to join this board and this will probably be my last visit. It is a great board but I just get tired of ontheair and his arrogant cocky attitude. "How does it feel to be wrong?" What makes you think you can just post something like that? The fact is that he was wrong. Started talking about how App has great pitching. Ha 24 runs in game 1 pal. How great pitching is that. You were the one who was wrong.

NOT YOU...relax Pheenix. I was directing the comment at someone else who has wronged all of us, not just me. Somebody said "App will take the series." I'm not quite sure why you aren't going after him/her because they were way off the mark.
As far as App's pitching....Garrett Sherrill won that 2nd game for them. Had they thrown anybody else, they would have lost. Jason Rook was shutting us down. He got tired in the 7th, but he still had a great start. Their bullpen is not very deep and if they get worn down, they will get rocked everytime.
Besides, if you judge their pitching on one game, then we'd be totally be screwed ourselves and Hensley wouldn't even be worthy to be on our team. I'm not saying they are the best in the world. Yet, they've got talent over there now.
LET ME CLEAR SOMETHING UP RIGHT NOW. I do not come on to the boards to be arrogant. If I do, I screwed up big time. I don't act like that in real life and I don't come in here with the intention of acting like that. But when I get riled up, it can happen. I'm sorry for that. I'll admit that....I'm not going to hold that back and I am not going to hide a weakness.
I got burned trying to defend somebody on the other board....thats half of the reason why.

Taking 2 of 3 to start off conference play is a good start. Top that off with a blow out, and a complete game shut out. Great coverage by the WSOE team by the way.

First of all our mascot is the Phoenix. I know you know this...
Second, let me stand up for ontheair. I dont always agree with him, but in this case I do. He was at the games this weekend (were you Pheenix?). I was there for part of one. Our pitching needs to improve. Ontheair goes to most of the games, so I think he's qualified to talk about our team. He may be just a tad negative at times. But, overall he is generally right or close to it.
Third, regarding our record, going 3-2 each week is not necessarily bad. Its not good, but it is over .500. You cant win them all - especially when we are playing the number 1 team in the nation. Would I like a couple 4-1 or 5-0 weeks? Sure - who wouldnt? Would I like to sweep a series or three? Of course. But if we go 2-1 every single series it will be hard to beat us.
Go Phoenix!
