i have a 12 yr old neice that is currently ranked in her age group in 9 events top 10 6 of those are top 5 and is ranked 1 in 2 events #1 according to USSwimming. holds 4 state records .... might have a chance to recruit her if We had a swim program. giving us time she is only 12.

Not sure we are financial ready to add a swim team.
We have to have a bigger pool and more then likley would add diving in with it so thats cost for the diving equipment. Along with scholarships unless we decide to go the non scholarship route, but the real big thing is insurance. Thats why gymnastics is dying out, easy to fund overall, but insurance is a killer.
I would be much more inclined to add lacrosse or field hockey, but then again adding a woman's swim team does get us a lot closer to being completly title IX compliant.
