Another win over an ACC school. This season worries me we have the talent and potential but we are not consistent

Hey, being a newcomer I'm not trying to tread on tradition.
Early observations:
Team is great on Paper and has the ability and talent to perform at a high level.
They need to loosen up and just Play the Game! Can't do that if looking over their shoulders.
Seems like a lot of Head Games going on?
Let them play and trust their abilities
Agree need more consistency all around
Just sayin'

Welcome to the board. Our big issue seems to be middle relief. We pitch by rotation to specific players. It is the coaches job to push the players to make them better, but agreed if a player has to constantly watch his back he doesn't keep his head in the game.

No doubt middle relief is an issue. But if you consistently are beaten where the opponent scores 5 to 7 runs, your biggest problem isn't pitching. It's offense. In the pros, 4-5 runs is a lot. Not so in college ball. We need more runs.
