Off to Charlottesville to play uncw. Not a bad draw, though we lost to them twice it was close.

Really impressed with how the team rebounded after that Wednesday loss. I wasn't sure they had it in them and they certainly proved me wrong.

I like the draw as well. We need to avenge the Cary regional debacle against UNCW. That was a tough game for Elon fans.

One other note about this year's tourney, CAA 3 bids and SoCon 1. I know this varies year to year and could be the opposite next year, but it does show that the CAA is and will be every bit the baseball conference the SoCon has been. CofC and Elon should only make it stronger.

Our coaches were able to put together a heck of a pitching card for the tournament. Let's hope these bats stay hot to give some run support.

I may head up the road on Saturday for a regional game. If I do go, hopefully I'll see some of you there.
